Engine guard clamp
« on: December 08, 2011, 06:35:53 AM »

Hey guys
I have bought this clamp for my 2012 CVO in order to mount a highway pegs

http://www.ebay.com/itm/260642656063?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_702wt_1057

Yet, it is still small
Am I not mounting it right or does the guard bar is larger in diameter

Any idea!
Thanks

They do appear to small until you get a bolt through them and get them closed up a bit.

Yep, If they are 1 1/4" they will fit.

Exactly... and it may help if you get an extra pair of hands to hold it closed some to get the bolt started.

They should work fine once you start clamping them down. Make sure you've got them where you want them as they'll probably scratch/scar the engine guard.
