Take everything off your old bike that you can.  Even if you don't use it you paid for it.

Yes everything I want will be taken off the Ultra and either put on the SG or I will keep it.

Congrats on the new ride!!   :2vrolijk_21: Like NorthGeorgiaHawg stated, the passing lamps are a personal preference.  I had them on my '08 Street Glide, but did not put them on my '10 SESG, or will I put them on the '12 SESG3.  I decided that I like the look without the passing lamps on the SESG.  I did put the garage door opener on my SESG3 though.  That was a good investment, beings I already had the receiver that came with my SERGU, I can now open my garage with both bikes.

Congrats on your new FLHXSE3! You're gonna LOVE it!

Passing lamps are a personal thing. I put the big ones on mine, but many prefer the smaller ones... or none at all... on Street Glides.

I also added a Tour Pak... but get ready for a $2000+ investment if you decide to go that route...

Probably not going to do the tour pak or i would have kept my ultra.  the passing lamps I like but I'm going to see how bright and how just the one LED head lamp looks before I decide . IM getting the LED passing lamps off the Ultra so I spent alot on them so we will see if i want to use them.
ps your tour pak looks really nice.

oh garage door opener is a must. I'm not getting my fat butt up and opening the door myself lol ..  I really think i might leave passing lights off even though i have the LED lights that cost a lot. I found the mounts for the passing lights don't include the turn signal relocation brackets or something . I  didn't understand what your are buying.   Do you have to purchase them separate?

I already had the LED headlight and passing lamps on my old bike but I transfered them onto my new CVO.
I much prefer the looks without the passing lamps, but if you ever have the passing lamps it will be hard to go without them.

congratulation for the new ride
well, me, i did the same thing, i bought my first Harley last year 2011 Deluxe and this year i went to our Local dealer and i was going through the Catalog of the CVO models of 2012 and said Oh my God, when i saw the CVO SG in Ruby Red and guess what, bought it on the spot.
Well, regarding the LED, i found it is much pretty without the passing light, specially the LED light in Black color.
Here is mine

Nice bike choice!
For those who want more lighting but also want to keep their fairing area clean, who not check out the Motolights? They provide lots of light without cluttering up the front of the bike.

Congrats on your new ride and I know how you feel about the impulse. I hate salesmen!!! They're trained to prey on us weak minded fools.  ;D I'll be smarter next time.  :2vrolijk_21:
Excellent color by the way.
