Throttle sensitivity

Wondering if it is possible to adjust the sensitivity on the fly by wire throttle bikes.  My new 2012 is super sensitive to the slightest input via the throttle.  While this is certainly better than having a lag that some have reported mine is so sensitive that riding on bumpy roads (and we have plenty of them) causes noticeable throttle input just due to jostling of my arm and hand.  Even though very slight it is sufficient to be noticeable to me and most especially to my bsr.  It is not just 'getting used to it.'  My 2011 CVO RG Ultra had fly by wire and the 2012 is noticeably more sensitive to input.

The TTS Master Tuner allows the throttle to be adjusted. The Pro Tuner also has a Throttle progressive table however it only works in 2nd through 5th...not 1st or 6th.

I've never seen it on the DT however I only use the DT once in a blue moon. Ask your dealer.

Jerry, a bike around here had symptoms you describe and the local dealership was able to adjust something to correct it.  They did so without making him buy a Race Tuner or TTS nor any other product.  Just a warranty fix.  Would be almost unfathomable that if the software was adjustable by an aftermarket product that Mother Harley wouldn't have some way to tweak it themselves.

That's what I thought also Don.  I'll check with my dealer's service manager about it.

I thought it was just me.  My bike acts the same on bumpy roads.  Will be looking into getting this fixed.

That's what I thought also Don.  I'll check with my dealer's service manager about it. 
Update - my service manager reports no way to modify.   :nixweiss:  I notice the effect is most pronounced when rolling off the throttle and decelerating.  The engine braking is really noticeable.  He said he had experienced the same thing and thinks it may improve as the motor gets some miles on it.  We'll see.

 :2vrolijk_21:       ;D      I've always loved how the typical Harley shop resorts to the normal story every time they don't know an answer, and I especially love the one where they say it will get better after you put plenty of miles on it.  Anytime they tell you that one, what they are really saying is that they don't have a clue, they don't feel like taking the time to contact Harley for an answer, and they'd prefer you not bother them with that issue again.  Trust me, there are no magic cures that come about just because the odometer reaches a certain number.

I would suggest if your dealership aces don't know the answer and just blow you off, contact the MoCo yourself.  It's likely due to a change in the engine management/ETC software, especially if others are reporting the same concern.  If enough folks bitch about it, perhaps Harley will issue a new calibration like they have in the past to address widespread complaints.  If no one complains, however, they won't know anyone is unhappy.

I can get the same conditions on my bike, but, only loaded, pulling a trailer, with BSR on board. Don't have that solo or without the trailer.
In my case it's "normal".
