Quote from ad...

But what about chrome? With all the issues that have been noticed with the chrome on some of our bikes (especially wheels) what will be the chemical reaction to that with this product? [smiley=nervous.gif]

They sure do make it sound better than mom's apple pie.  If half of it were true, it would be worth trying.  Its one of those things that you are just not sure is working.  They would need to cite an independant lab test I believed before I'd put that stuff in my tires.

I can only imagine what it would be like to take apart a tire full of snot if the stuff set up in there [smiley=shocked.gif]

I haven't tried this product, but I have a real problem with folks who claim that their various liquid sealers also "hydro-dynamically" balance your tires as you ride.  Sure it does, right after it cures your hemorrhoids and whitens your teeth.  As for the ability to seal small punctures, that would be a very desirable thing on a bike.  I have, many years ago, used a similar product and the sealing claims were true - small punctures would seal by themselves.  Unfortunately, the stuff also left a nasty mess in the tire and wheel, as well as heavy corrosion.  If this companies claims about no corrosion and water clean-up are true, then it would be worth a try just for the peace of mind.  Now we just need independent confirmation that the stuff does what they say.

I used the 'green snot' stuff to seal the tire on my wheelbarrow, and it works good.  I'll have to try it on my hemorrhoids. :)

Not tried this one, but tried one of the (many) others that claims to do the same. Had it put in my last Ultra before delivery. 200 miles later, got a rear wheel puncture that the stuff failed to seal......  And yes, the mess inside the tyre & on the rim has to be seen to be believed when you get tyres changed.  Tyre fitters are not that impressed then! ;)

Garz,

See if you can get that wheelbarrow up to about 60 mph and let us know how the balance feels.  ;D

Ride On has a good web site if you want more info. Battley HD (the dealer I bought my SEEG at) recommends it

Actually, Jerry, I don't operate the wheelbarrow, my wife does... I'll ask her.

Yeah, Gettinold, but the determination of 'whiteness' is harder to ascertain than the degree of hemorrhoid shrink, so it'll be a while.  Tastes like spinach.

You guys crack me up [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenlol2.gif]

Well, I asked for it, Bob  [smiley=smartass2.gif].
On the HawgWired speakers;  I wear earplugs on long trips to keep what little is left of my hearing. That, combined with the SE slip-ons meant I had to turn it WAY up. Seems like the wind was blowing the sound away at highway speeds, so didn't do much good. Any other time they work great. I think my CD player skips at speed, too. George Thorogood sounded drunk.  However, Patsy Kline on FM sounded really good in the N GA mountains!  :)  I believe the component speakers with an amp is the way to go if ya really want to hear ALL the time.  And XM or MP3 to eliminate the CD problems (I HAVE cleaned my CD player per the thread).  The 'TuneTrapper' antenna is not nearly as good as the whip antenna. Winkler was getting FM stations on his radio that I couldn't.
