I also have a new FLTRUSE and am considering slipping on the V&H ovals I took off my Limited. A friend said to look into Big City Thunder baffles so the bike looks stock. Anyone know anything about how these sound?

do-dahman, I have a 107 in my 1995 Heritage. It has screamin eagle II mufflers with crossover pipe from 2001 Heritage. I bought the big City Thunder Baffles and installed them (very easy task using a slide hammer to get the stock baffles out). They work good and really come on at about 3000RPM, but they are way too loud for me.(easily as loud as a thunderheader) I took them out, drilled out the baffle holes in my screamin eagle baffles about 1/8 in bigger and put them back in. Drilling out the holes got rid of the "bark" of the stock baffles, and they are a little louder. I sold the Big City Thunder for half what I paid for them. Truthfully if welded a 3/4 inch washer to the end of a bolt, and mounted it vertically at the end of your muffler body you would be very close to what a  Big City Muffler baffle is. Still got the free T shirt. I recommend Fulsac 1.75 baffles. I have them on my 09SEUC. The sound in my opinion is just right. CAHDBIKER

Fullsac X Pipe "B" or Fuelmoto x pipe.

Then a slip-on with a 2 or 2.25 baffle, any bigger you loose a little low end torque.

Made more Torque using Fullsac 2.25 baffles with his head pipe than I did with his head pipe and the V & H High outputs, especially down low where you ride.

CAHDBIKER, Thanks, That's what I've read about the BCT. I'll try drilling out my baffles. You just saved me some $! Still sounds like an expensive T shirt!

I had the Fullsac X-pipe with 1.75" baffles on my '09 SEUC. Bike performed very well.

I have another Fullsac set-up on the way for 2011 CVO Road Glide. Should be installed by next weekend  :2vrolijk_21: ...so stay tuned.

I'm gonna have them install mine.  For the little they charge, why bother. Then I'll do the cams, x pipe , mufflers and tune.   :2vrolijk_21:

GAbe,
I have the fullsac set up with the 2.25 mufflers.  I can't get that CFR sound out of my mind.  How does your bike run, any other mods, and is there a map for TTS?  Do you have any dyno stats?

Nope. Done it myself. The bike is apart and just waiting for my box from Fullsac. This was my second go-round removing the stock baffles...so I guess you could say I'm experienced.  ;) If you have a Dremel tool it ain't bad.

Completed Fullsac install today. The fit was perfect and the ECM update was a snap. Another happy customer here Steve.  :orange:

Took it for a short ride...despite the mid 30's temps. :o First thing I noticed? Now it sounds like a Harley!  :2vrolijk_21: I went with the 2" baffles this time...and I really like the sound. Not too loud. Bike performs nice. Much better acceleration...and cooler. Oh yeah, never mind...it's cold outside.  ;) I'll report back in June on the improvement in that area.

I also have the Fullsac 2" CVO cores in my stock cans and am very pleased with the sound. I'm running V&H Power Duals head pipes, and prior to the Fullsac cores, had V&H Monster Rounds. These pipes were too loud for me - borderline obnoxious - and the Fullsac mod was perfect and fairly easy to do.
