It's no joke for sure. I understand the reasoning... somewhat... the thought is you might accidentally get OC (pepper) sprayed/tazed in the heat of a battle so they want you to know/feel what it is like so you can still be able to do your job... however you could (hopefully not) get shot by a gun during an incident too but they don't make that part of qualifying/carrying a weapon... not that I'm complaining about that... I can just see some locality deciding that if we are requiring our officers to wear kevlar then we should shoot them with it on so they will know how it feels to be hit w/a round. :zstupid: :nervous:
