FLTRUSE Corbin Seat question...
« on: January 04, 2012, 10:16:23 PM »

I am interested in purchasing a Corbin "Dual Touring" for my Skunk. (Currently using a 2011 FLTRUSE OEM seat.)
Can anyone who has changed from the standard seat on the FLTRUSE to a Corbin, describe how it changed their riding/seating position on the bike.
Thanks

Didn't really change much on my 09, just got a lot more comfortable for the wife and myself. I highly recommend getting the rider backrest...

Replaced the Hammock seat on my FLTRUSE, with a Corbin, (my third one). Like the seat  "EXCEPT" this is the first time my stock seat was more comfortable than the Corbin. Keep in mind the Corbin is a great seat, and it is definitely better made, but the stock seat is really comfortable. As far as change in riding position the Corbin places me a little further back than the stock seat. Hope this helps.

You will definitely sit lower, at least one inch.
