2011 & 2012 CVO Ultra Classic differences
« on: January 05, 2012, 07:42:05 PM »

Hey everybody!

Can anyone tell me what the differences are between the 2011 & 2012 CVO Ultras (other than wheels and paint of course)?

Thanks,
Just Scootin

Welcome to the site from Tennessee! Other than a Chrome Tour Pack light wrap around I don't see any significant "differences" between a 2011 and a 2012. Maybe others can help with more info.

Thanks - I appreciate it!  I'm sure I'll learn a lot here.  I'm close to buying one or the other and doing my research.

I like my wheels and paint better on BIG BLUE  2011.5 .....

However, the Ipod is a significant enhancement, built into my 2010 Street Glide CVO....  I have gotten around it with MP3 condensed CDs, but the IPOD built in would have been a nice touch for my IPhone...

I understand that built in IPOD set up comes stock with the 2012...  Only advantage I can see, and a minor one.  I am still WAAAAY happy with BIG BLUE now going on 10,000 kms in 5 months...

Cowboy, lost in Oz....  Four Horses, Two Harleys, not all bad...   :bananarock:

My 2011.5 came with the Roadtech 660 GPS... which has an integrated MP3 player built in.  Only, you can't control it (other than volume) from the bars...  8)
