The Frontier seems to be running good but with this little addition there was no wobble.
I ran it up to 126 (per the GPS) and very smooth!

Now Nancy wants one :-/.

Chip,
Tell me again why the HBRR doesn't head to Bonneville to take a shot at " The World's Fastest Bagger" title ?

Mainly Brian because there's a few baggers that run the "ECTA" that run well over the 150's

Chip, have seen those steering stabilizers before on smaller bikes (Storz?).  Never saw one on a bagger before though.  What is the other attachment point and how much (I know, tough to quantify) dampening does it offer?  Do you feel yourself working against it in normal turning?

Don

The other end attaches to the fork leg.

With the front end off the ground with 0 dampening (the adjustment knob turned all the way counterclockwise) it's the same as without the dampner.
In the picture at the end of the unit that knob turns and the more you turn it clockwise the more dampning you have. Again with the bike off the ground with full dampning you have to push hard  on the bars to move them. I used one on the drag bike I had a few years back and most of the Jap bikes have them.

My little run up to 126 was at about 1/2 way of the adjustment.

I will get a shot in a while of the fork attachment!

Hey Chip, will you have time to screw that thing in when ole Hub pulls up beside you and 'nods', or will you have to ride with it screwed in all the time just in case?  [smiley=confused5.gif] har!  [smiley=drink.gif] spyder

My guess is anytime "Ole Maudie" is anticipated crossing the state line into N.C. it will be tightened down. :)

70 in January!
Who would have thought it.
Between today and Saturday we have almost 500 miles on the Frontier motor and 800 on the Lowrider. The Lowrider has been on the dyno and is at 126 H/P and 121 T.
The Frontier goes to the dyno next week. As dOOd put it, "That seat of the pants feel is awesome".  Time will tell! [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Took a few pictures when we came home.

 [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
Chip,
Looking good. [smiley=2vrolijk_21.gif] I can almost smell the Cam 2 looking at those pictures. ;D

Spyder it might take 3 to 4 seconds to do that!
But dOOd is right, no sense in going to a gunfight not ready or prepared!

So what do you figure the frontier is gonna top out at once you get everything the way you want it ? And even if you didn't beat the record, wouldn't it be fun to try ? I'd ride over from Dago just to watch you guys go at it.

Im hoping to give it a whirl this fall at one of their meets.
The SEEG ran 142 but had to run in the 2000 cc class.
The class break was 1650 cc
I think I can get Otis and Hubbard to try also.
GOOD Brian!
I will let you know when.
You need to meet Carl anyway!
