Big crapola!    I have a Corbin with backrest as well as a Mustang seat with backrest.  The 06 SE is a different seat altogether.   I see money flying out of my pocket real soon.

Let us know what you come up with.  I have looked a little bit for a nice touring seat.  I am currently debating having a gel pad or some other padding added to the stock seat.  Good luck!

I have my Mustang seat pff my 03 and will swear by it.  Had a Corbin Gunfighter but found that too hard of a seat.

Can someone answer me this question.   If a part says it will fit a 06 Fatboy, is it fair to assume that it will also fit our SE Fatboys.  I cannot imagine the frame is different even though the rear is wider...

I am running into a problem with researching parts since it is not specific to our SE Fatboys.

OK.  I just called Mustang and was told that the Mustang seats for the 06 Fatboy will fit our bikes.  Only problem is, if you just want to buy a solo saddle, the back chrome trim will not work with an aftermarket seat.  

Heads up though.   Be prepared to pay $500+ for a seat with backrest and a passenger seat.

here is a little more info for thought..

spoke with the Parts guys at HD.  I like running a sissy bar for my T-bag when I tour.   The sissy bar for our bike is not a quick detach (grrrrrrr..)
The Parts guys suggested a Corbin with a passenger backrest for the T-bar and that will eliminate the need for a sissy bar.  

Me,  I will still stick with a Mustang but thought I would throw out the above in case someone wanted to go that way.

you may have trouble with the seat as that relates to the wider rear on the SE fatboy but yes other parts will fit.
