Members, why not check here, list here first before buying and selling?

I talking to a friend and I thought about this last night.  I sold my bike to a member on this site in August 2011, perfect condition, buyer very happy and he got a perfect bike.  Depressed and without a bike, I decided to buy a bike of a member in December.  Never bought used anything, but again, everything went perfect the bike was better than new because the owner was top notch and he took care of his machine, nicely appointed and a great price.  No cheap a@@ hagglers that make buying and selling miserable.  Members aren't afraid to give honest values or comparitives to keep asking prices in line so the pupose isn't deluted.  I have bought and sold items on the site from both members and vendors.

I have never had a bad experience.  We have a great resource here and new members and old should consider spending their money here simply because most of the people on this site have credibility and a history.  Some sharp people on this site, bad vendors and members are called out and disappear quickly.

Chime in and get lets let everyone know the often unspoken and undervalued benefit of membership of this site!

 The members here are fantastic! Bought and sold here as well, sometimes before monies sent, very trusting on both sides, but NEVER a problem. Members have given me free items, and I have done the same. I have become best friends with many here and have nothing but good experiences since joining. Look what all you have to be proud of Don!

I must agree with this.... I have also bought and sold here.  Great bunch of honest guys, and if there is a dishonest member... they are called out.  It either gets resolved, or they are banned/quit (which I have only seen one situation go that method).  I am more than willing to give my home address to anyone that buys from me because I have nothing to hide.  I wouldn't sell untested/broken/damaged junk.

Good way to save money and get what your looking for!

I agree, I always  scour the ads on here. The few transactions I
have done were all of the integrety that one would expect
from our kind!

 :) purchased the black ice agitator wheels listed on here. Deal went off without a hitch seller was great guy to deal with straight up. I will continue looking for parts and equipment. Thanks to the site developer and moderators great place to spend some time.

100% AGREE! Never a problem! Never worried about not getting paid or part not being as described! Great members here for certain. I would not hesitate for a second to buy a $2.00 part or a $35,000 bike from a member here.

I've learned to look here and the Road Glide forum and I've purchased alot of stuff, tour-pak, floorboards, fiberglass speaker pods, etc and have had great conversations over the phone with other riders. If it's not available on the forum classifieds, I go to the vendor sections for those vendors that support the sites and I've had great prices and great responses from everyone. :2vrolijk_21:

New here and already had a great transaction with another member. Seems this is really a great place to meet others and buy/sell with confidence. Thanks to everyone who makes this what it is.

I've bought parts from other fourms with great success, and will continue to do so as needs arise. I've seen that members here are selling at great prices on parts and especially bikes. I had to go the dealer route though when I bought my CVO simply because I needed the trade in to be able to purchase what I wanted. When my next purchase comes up though, this site will be my first stop. Great fourm by the way, great members.
