Ya know, I have been through a lot with this bike, and I love it.  So, sucks to be me right now, but at the end of the fixing..... it will all be OK. So you can say what you think, it won't hurt my feelings.  I am still riding, and that is the bottom line on the Ride and Have Fun story.   ;D

Well crap guys.  You all are just too inciting and pre-forgiving.  I guess it wasn't all that bad anyway.  Had just seen MrsWe's comment that suggested the bike might not be as bad off as we'd all likely believed and that therefore it might be home more quickly than a major tear down for a complete harness swap might have required.  Upon seeing all that the though that passed trough was:

"Gee, whadya know?  MrsWe is gonna get her  [smiley=cherry.gif] back."

But since I adore MrsWe and respect the hell out of MrWe I would never have said such a thing (except I think I just did  [smiley=nixweiss.gif] ).

The obvious difference is that you, still holding on to a certain amt. of decorum, good judgement and a super-ego, saw fit to avoid the leap into said gutter.  :-[ har!  spyder
