Wondering if anyone has this video. I believe it's the same one but not sure. The time line is about the same but I've read that one of the fellows involved with this has passed on.
to order the DVD is like $50 but you can download it for $15...if you're in the US. Unable to download overseas but I'd like to add this video to my learning library.

Have this video, and yes it is a good one.

The fellow you mentioned who had passed on was Frank Shulz "HIPPO" (a cantankerous German) , a great guy and great mechanic, He was responsible for the "HIPPO Build" which you see a lot of on Harley Tech Talk (HTT). Him and Charlie worked together on and off for years. Charlie would do the machining and Frank would build the motors.

The HIPPO sure is missed by all who knew him.

I have the video and IMO it is certainly worth $50 and a $15 download would be the way to go. I think there are ways around video downloads oversea, try a Google search on the subject and see if you can find something to help

And yes, very sad to say, Hippo passed away last year. Here is comical video with Hippo and SBC talking about a Harley Crank copied from another thread on this forum.

Checking with a friend of mine to see if he can load it for me and burn a disk. Downloading a 2.3 Gb file would take a couple of days (42 hrs?) and I know I'd time out before it completed. One of the things that really sux here but you just deal with it.  ;D  I'll give it a try though.

That video was a riot, done tongue in cheek, I think the had some woobly pops before they did. Some on HTT, took it the wrong way and their noses out of joint, then we they realized HIPPO's sens of homour they alos saw the way it was intended.
