Thanks Paul...this was posted on an earlier thread, and I have the power cord and audio cord in hand for installation..nice stuff from the two companies mentioned in the thread.

Paul,

Question;  I have the HD-GarminQuest mounted on my bike, (see thread on HD Radar and GPS).  Currently I have the GPS wired from the mount to the radio through the Aux input on the front.  Does this wire your referenced let you wire it to the back of the radio?  I would love to get the wire into the back of the radio and off the handlebars.  This would also free up the Aux jack so I can plug my MP3 player into it.  Appreciate your help.  See picture attached for wire that I'm using

Hog...no, this wire does not do that...does the same thing yours is doing, I'll just route it a little differently for my application.  See the 2720 thread for thoughts on an AUX plug for the back of the radio...

If you upgrade to a 2820, you get a built in MP3 Player   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

TC,

Curious, how you're going to route your wire differently.  I'm open for something that will look cleaner.  Appreciate your help.

My GPS is mounted on the Techmount Chrome Mini-Mount mentioned and displayed in other threads..on the left side of the handlebars...so my plan is to plug into the audio out on the 2820, through the hole for the handlebars in the fairing on the left side, then back out on the right and into the aux port.  The wire is black, and so is my inner fairing, with right angle connectors, so it will hardly show at all, and when not in use I'll just push it in closer to the holes...same for the power cord, if I don't just go with the lighter plug.
