After I calmed down from disappointment with HD not introducing an LED for the Road Glide I started to search for alternatives.  I found this thread on ROADGLIDE.ORG  Apparently this guys shop is in Sacremento Ca somewhere and he states they made these up for sale.  Pictures are real good, but maybe someone in the area can do some homework and find out who these guys are an what their product looks like up close?

I just did a custom install with Clearwater LED Lights on my 07 glide...
Super bright...check them out. We sell them at our shop and they are actually made right around the corner. High low and a dimmer switch.

Is there a kit for this in the works? I would love to do this to my '11 RoadGlide, fits right in with what is cool 2 me!! I think I could do enough fab. to do this if u had some good directions???
Anyway cool idea and I want that on my RGC.

FYI..

I spoke to Big Jim, sounds like a good guy.  He is going to send me better detailed pictures of the lights on a road glide.  He said he fabricated a bracket that replaces or bolts in direclty using the mounting holes for the current two headlight mount, then an ABS face bracket for the lights for a custom finished look?  It would be great if one of our Sacramento members could take a ride to this guys shop and get a close up look of the mod?  I'm thinking about being the guinea pig....still thinking???

Rio.....was thinking about riding out there tomorrow and see if I can get some pics for you.  But there web site doesn't show their hours and no message on their phone.  Maybe I'll take a ride anyway......see if we can get lucky.

I rode out there this morning but nobody was around.  I was just going out as a favor to Rio.......I ride a Street Glide and prefer the HID over LED.  Had some spare time, so thought I'd take a ride.  

Big Jim, maybe you can provide the close up detail pic these guys want to see.  I looked on your web site before I left, but didn't see anything about Road Glide LED light conversion kit.  Neither did I see your shop hours on your web site.

I can tell you first hand (I ride with a couple of Nor Cal members that have the LED) the spread of the LED isn't near that of the HID, perpherialy.  The HID is nearly straight out the side from the head light but not an issue for on coming cars while the LED has a much narrower beam......at least the LEDs coming out of a couple Ultra Classic Limited's headlights.

 I will be at the shop M-F 7:30 - 5:00. The light kits only take me a day to fab, so yes this is a production item. As for. HID lighting...it is a nice bright long light, BUT they do not  last as long, they run hotter, they use more power, and they are not as.durable as an LED. I can fab both led.and hid, but i find the led' S far better allaround choice. The reason that the.lights are not on our site, is simply due to the lack of time i have between wrenching to run an effective sales web site. If you have any? Let me know

What would u do for our group on a package of these, I would bet that we can come up with a bunch of us to buy them. I will, perhaps we start a list of members so that Big Jim has an idea of how many he has to produce so he can better price these if possible?

JCZ is doing us all a favor and taking a ride to see Big Jim and take a look at the finished product.  Me myself, as bad as I would like an alternative to the current RG headlight set up, I also would like something that looks like it belongs on a $$$ bike and the fit and finish is there?  I spoke with Jim and mentioned that would likely happen if the product was popular.
