Yeah with interest rates going up and the economy doing so poorly is will soon be a buyer's market. The MOCO will have to get pretty creative to meet their target's from here on out....

Can You say export, They (HD) Signed an agree with china- doesn't matter how many they make they can export and still keep the price where they want. It looks like a glut right now but they can control local supply. They haven't lasted a 100 years  for nothing.

I've been saying that for the last 16 years, are you telling me we finally got there?

Only time will tell, but if they stay true to form they'll be able to cut production to control their end and the dealers will be the ones that are stuck.

Funny thing, the minute a bike hits the truck it is no longer HD's and they made the full margin.  The dealer is the one that has to figure out how to get them down the road.

I was once told something that has stayed with me in business for a long time:  Timing makes genuisses of fools and fools of genuisses.

Not sure which applies here but we may find out.

I know where my money is for now and for the past 16 years............

Here's all I know Ladies and Gentlemen... I've been professing the overproduction for a long time too...

Currently, with less than 48 hrs left until the new models ship on Friday I have over 100 bikes in stock.

That MAY be a clue.   [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

Wow, everything else had better be ringing the register a lot then.  Keeping the doors open at two bikes per week would be no simple proposition.

Rjob, that stock graph looks like the HP curve on one of our 103's - - which is to say FLAT at the end (and ready to fall off)!

Not much movement over the past five years, but quite strong before that.  I hope they can get the upward trend going again soon!
