Exhaust louder when riding 2 up
« on: February 06, 2012, 05:18:48 PM »

Not sure if I'm imagining things but seems like my CFR pipes are louder when the girl is sitting behind me compared to when I ride solo. Seems logical that it would be the other way around... has anyone else experienced the same thing? And it's to the point where the CFRs are too loud when she's behind me but just perfect when I'm solo.

:huepfenlol2:     It is all power to weight.   Make the engine work harder it'll work louder.   Never explaining that to a BSR though.    :huepfenlol2:

If you haven't done it yet, change to a 30 tooth sprocket & the noise will drop, the motor will work easier.  The 32 tooth makes the motor work too hard & make it louder.

So, I jumped in....  Bring it on

Get with Corbin. They should have a noise damping SOLO seat available. Your motor should go back to normal sound.
