Getting Ready to list the Road Rod I own for sale.  What do you guys and gals suggest as the best place to get the most exposure.  Not interested in a e bay type auction, prefer classified add and firm starting price.  Would also be interested in a CVO V Rod as partial trade.

I suggest Chopperexchange. I listed my old 99'RKC on there a year or so ago. They have several price ranges to chose from. To me they have a very user friendly website.

Use all of the tools you can find.

post the best picts you have or can get, sometimes that is the only thing that will get attention

The more exposure the bigger audience.

There is no one venue that works.

Ebay with a starting price you will accept.
Craigslist, but use a contact phone number (no email) mostly scams
local classified ads
Cycletrader ad
and local dealers/suppliers that will let you post.
do a well timed Blitzkrieg approach all at the same time.

if you do not want to give out your cell or home number, get a track phone for this purpose.

If you dont mind giving up 10% find a Harley retail shop that gets lots of foot traffic. They can set up financing and sell on a impulse sell. I've sold three bikes this way and actually recouped my 10% loss by asking 10% more than i really wanted.  That bike is awesome and 'one of kind' If you can get that somewhere exposed in a lot of foot traffic it will sale fast

B.J. has a ton of fees associated with the sale so one would want to look into them first (my old truck sold on the AZ B.J.).
