Now, while there is no such thing as too hot to ride, that comment does not apply to chores around the house and yard.  As far as I'm concerned, anything over 80 degrees is too hot for chores.  We just have to get our priorities right, folks. 8-)

I can take the riding when it's hot.  I just hate the stopping when it's hot.  Head for open road, enjoy the ride, and it's easier to ignore the heat.

It's been in the triple digits all week.  Going to be 107 today and 108 tomorrow........I'll be out on the boat all weekend. 8-)

An old golfer friend of mine said it is always at least 10 degrees cooler on the golf course! I feel the same way when riding. Has been in 110+ degree range here (North Cental TX) but fairly low humidity. Yeah it does feel like a hot blow dryer is hitting you in the face. Tomorrow, we are expecting a cold front, high of only 92 or so!( but chance of rain). Plan on riding to American Eagle HD in Corinth (150 miles from here) w/ a couple of buddies. Only snow or ice will keep us off the streets.

Yep, it's been hovering around the 100 degree mark here all week, with high humugity, but supposed to get a cold front through tonight and tomorrow and cool things off to upper 80's/low 90's, so will be hitting the road to somewhere Sunday. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

If I stay at home, wife has me doing "honey-do's". So I tell her "Honey, It's too hot to mow the lawn today, I think I'll go for a ride on my Harley". If you are going to be sweating anyway, no better place to do it than on your bike! Any arguments?

It is both. Or maybe just got old enough to have sense to stay out of extremes. ( actually do ride early in am but have to have my rear home by noon!)
