« on: February 24, 2012, 08:05:01 AM »

With the Daytona 500 kicking off a another year for season racing, who is your pick to win the 500 this Sunday..

I'm sticking with Tony Stweart.   :2vrolijk_21:

I think we are in for a surprise, just like last year.

Pulling for Martin Truex Jr.  I have to, work for NAPA..  :2vrolijk_21:

Also think Jeff Gordon is being very quiet this week, he's way overdue.

Quiet? Did you see his finish last week?

Yeah, but the Bud Shootout has nothing to do with the way they run the Daytona 500

Definitely a crap shoot.  I dont doubt that we'll see a lot of attrition this year.  Probably a lot of good cars melting down.  But if not,  the Fords are looking really strong this year.  I'm just glad that racing season is back and riding season just around the corner.

Anyone so long as it isn't Juan Pablo or the Busch brothers.  Can't stand any of those guys.

Just for fun I'll root for Patrick.  The media circus would be a hoot following a victory if she could do it.  Y'know what, the first time I've actually been impressed by her turn in to NASCAR was her reaction after the big wreck the other day.  I hope she does do very well :drink: .

If you believe in numerology then Tony Stuart would be the best pick. 14th start in the 500 driving the 14 car. DW got his 500 win driving the 17 car on his 17th 500 start. MW got his first 500 win driving the 15 car in his 15th 500 start. Not that I agree with numerology, just sayin!

Junior or Gordon
Hendricks cars are strong and I think these two can team up to pull off a win. (both are over due)

Greg Biffle #16 , just a hunch!

Bad year last year ( bad luck) so he is an under dog that has to prove this is his year and he still has what it takes.
