Stolen Trailer - Cross Post
« on: February 24, 2012, 08:12:24 PM »

Carmichael, CA

Happened 2/17-2/18. Anyone trying to sell you a nice white Motorvation with a covered ice chest on the tongue it's hot. PTI License # 4HU5022. It also had a few Yamaha Royal Star Venture parts in it. 1-Final, 1-rear shock, and 1-ignition switch. All in as new condition. Picture attached. A call would really be appreciated if you happen to see it.

Sorry to here about this... Well, Carmichael could explain part of the theft, sounds like the thief's there are giving up on copper wire.   >:(  Curious where in Carmichae?,  Bar, Home, Work??l.. Keep an eye out in Craig's listings.. More than likely some scum bag is going to sell it cheap to another dumb scum then eventually will post in Craigs...Hopefully you will get this back someday.. I sure hope anyway...  :2vrolijk_21:

Folks,   Got an email from a member yesterday that i should be ashamed for insulting Carmichael (something like that anyway) in my comments on this thread..  Well, I sincerely apologize to anyone offended.. My attentions were not directed at folks in Carmichael or the City of Carmichael at all. I merely was referencing a couple of coper wire thefts busted in Carmichael recently..  So i retract what i said  :'(

also,, the email did not come from anyone commenting on this particular thread,

Some people have way too much time on their hands...

I read the post a couple of times... it was pretty obvious that you were slamming the thieves not the town.

We have guys up here who try to steal copper too but from transformer stations, you'd think electrocution is a pretty good deterant, but it still happens!

Good luck on the hunt Sklywag, it's never nice to have your stuff stolen.

Hey Guys

Just to let you know, this isn't my trailer, it is someone I know from another site, that's why the link to the cross post.

It is crappy to have something stolen, & seems to be too much the norm in the society we live in today.  The economy certainly does not help, but my guess is it was a theft of opportunity, and probably a seasoned criminal who looks for that opportunity as his given profession.

Unemployed electicians know how to keep from getting electrocuted.  Saw on the news where one of the guys arrested down in (another town south of here) that was stealing copper wire from the city street lights was a long time unemployed electrician.

By the way.....is Carmichael a "city" now?  Thought it was still just a little suburb of Sacramento.

JC, I believe Carmichael is a city but not 100%. it's either Citrus Heights or Carmichael that became city about 5 years ago..  And maybe both, just not sure... Good question though.
