My is mounted on the engine guard.  I got the part numbers for the mounting hardware from Neal...

Hello sadunbar.

In this picture I see the Techmount 3-30912 but which swivel mount is it?

Is it the one that comes with the GoPro Motorsports or is this the one from Chutingstar the Cookie GoPro swivel mount for $85.00?

Cycle Gear runs sales on these a couple of times a year - have seen them up to $100.00 off.

I use my GoPro almost always when I'm on my bike. I have mounts front and rear, and when I'm riding w/ others they all love to see themselves and even bring my laptop to play it back for riding partners. My wife saw herself riding her rear bike and changed her riding habits accordingly, that is one example of what a good tool it can be!

Amazon, no tax and free shipping if your a prime member.

I'm getting ready to order a 2nd one, these things are amazing.

Also, if your funds will allow it..... order the Wasabi charger ($22.99) that comes with two batteries and doubles as a car charger. These batteries are actually a little better than the gopro batteries and is a better option (in my opinion) than the battery backpack especially if you want to run the LCD bacpac like I do.

I'm getting ready to order everything on Amazon. Is my understanding correct that the LCD bacpac mounts on the rear of the camera and allows you to see what will be in the picture to help you align the mounting angle correct? Is there a difference in the SDHC cards? I see that Fry's electronics have a POlaroid 32GB SDHC Class 10 card on sale this weekend for $27. Thanks!

Your understanding of the LCD bacpac is correct...

And as long as the SDHC card is Class 10 - it will work fine.   :2vrolijk_21:

Mamma gave me a GoPro for Christmas; you’re right, these things are amazing! These are large format photos so if you are interested and have a big monitor, open them up.

Another thing that is amazing is the back-country riding in northern New Mexico; who wudda thunk!

Sometimes it’s better to just get off rather than trench-in.
