SE 211 dyno sheet
« on: July 16, 2006, 01:42:07 PM »

I think this goes against the belief that SE 211s are a mid to high rpm cam. However, I do need some advice as to a better exhaust system as the V&H duals and SE pro touring slip-ons are KILLING my horsepower. Should I go with another set of slipons or go 2-1? Or should I leave it, after all that is pretty nice torque curve up to about 4500 rpms. Neh....I need more hp!!

IMO, 2 in 1 will give you more HP, 8 to 10%.  Not sure about the 211 cams, I have 257s with V&H true duals and SE slip ons.  I don't have that low rpm torque drop.  That is usually what the Rhinehart true duals show.  If I liked the look, I would have 2 in 1 pipes.  So I chased the torque curve on my dyno instead.  After CC and seeing the 2 in 1 on a lot of bikes, I am getting used to the look and may still change.  My dyno numbers are on the SEEG dyno thread as a PDF attachment if you want to see what I am talking about.
