Power Vision Maps
« on: February 28, 2012, 01:43:37 PM »

Anyone have maps set up for 2011 FLTRUSE with Power Duals ,Fullsac 2.0 and stock ventilator a/c I got the Power Vision so I could have a few different maps for the different riding situations like performance...fuel economy...and any time I am stuck buying low grade fuel or when riding in 110 degree weather as I found last summer riding thru the desert in AZ  NM  and UT it started pinging pretty bad not sure if it was the heat or the altitude

There shouldn't be any need for different calibrations if the one you're using is correct.

Looking for alternatives for when hi grade gas not available for occasions when I want to get a bit better MPG or when I dont have BSR and want to open it up a bit ...the map supplied when I got the Power Vision was for before putting on the Power Duals which even then was pinging in the situations previously described unfortunately didnt realise at the time but purchased my gear from someone other than Fuel moto so dont have support from Jamie and Dynojet has nothing for the 110 engines

Is adding the Autotune by Dynojet an option for you? It's around $400 and from what I read is similar to the way Thundermax works; always tuning as you ride.

Dragula 2 into 1, S&S 640 EZ start cams pistons (10.8 compression) flywheel and Timken bearing, Vee Twin Racing Stage IV ported heads, K&N air cleaner, Power Vision with WBO2 auto tuner, king tour pak, solo & two up mounts, pass. floor boards, Headwinds spot/turn signal lights, zumo 660 GPS, ssaddlebag guard & pouches, Progress Suspension cartridg

I think you might be able to use their sensors/modules to generate a calibration (like v-tune or smart tune) but the Power Vision is not something that does any kind of actual controlling.  It's just an interface in the end no different from TTS or SEPST.  Closed-loop operation is completely handled by the Delphi ECM in all three cases, so it's extremely important to get the VE tables set up where the ECM is happy with what gets reported from the stock O2 sensors.  If you fudge the VE tables any and leave it closed-loop, they'll get unfudged by the ECM.  It won't matter if you purposely fudged them by hand or if the numbers were derived by an outside O2 sensor system that didn't get it right as far as the ECM is concerned.  The point is that in any case, if you're going to run the Delphi closed-loop the best results will be obtained by using the very same sensors in all steps of the journey.
