I had been searching Craig's List in a 500 mile radius.
One of the cities I looked at was Greenville SC. (about 120 miles from home)
There was an ad with no picture for a Quantum Bushtec trailer that was blue in Pickens SC.
I called the number around Dec 15th, no answer and left a message.
After about a week I called again and left another message. No response and after Christmas the ad expired.
I wrote it off. Then last Tuesday when Nancy and I were on the way to Maggie Valley the cell phone rings.
For some reason I had saved the number as Bushtec Quantum and thats what showed when it rang.
A guy said is this Chip, I said yes, he said this is Max did you call about the trailer?
Yes I did. He said they had been out of town and just got back this weekend and was listening to his messages.
So he asked if I was interested. Yes I said but could you email me some pictures. I could he said, but I don't have a computer.
Damn!
So I gave him my address and ask him to send me some pictures.
I got pictures this past weekend.
Looked good.
So I rode down there to look at it.
Nice trailer in good condition.
Brought it home, washed it and Glared it.
Not a perfect match to the 11.5 but not far off.
It's a closer match to the 01 SERG.
Should be a close match to the 2012 SERG but will have to wait and see. (but not to long of a wait)
If your an owner of a Bushtec what do you think I need to look for as far as problems?
I greased it today and checked the air in the tires. The shocks hold air fine I guess.
So now I need an hitch for the 11.5 so I can use it on that bike and the 12.
I also need an insert for a Bushtec hitch for use on the 01.Thanks for all the help and links everyone sent me.
