This weekend, with a box of parts i was able to make the weekend fun as i added
Spots,
Fairing mount Zumo 665
Batwing wind deflectors.
Gave up on the Nim for now.

Also added new Smart siren II with a pager. Now that is a sweet setup!

I Have the NIM, but i need to re-read the instructions, as i got confused with the instructions.

What are NIM'S

NIM= Navigation Interface Module

to make the GPS voice prompts work in all modes through the speakers,

currently i will have to use a the aux jack in front of the radio. And to this i say NAY NAY!

i find it intersting to see that it looks like a wire monster puked all over the front with the fairing off.

I got my SESG back in August but have not been able to ride due to a mc accident in June.  Before I picked it up I had them install the Garmin on my dash.  Since I have not ridden enough to program a route, I don't know if it gives feedback through my speakers.  I sure hope it does

As for the Dealer doing the GPS, i hear different stories. Let us know how it works when your able to.

there are a few i know of on here that know how to make the NIM connection... for some dumb ass reason, HD did not put it on the sesg, yet the ultras have it..   another bonehead move,,    North Georgia Dawg did it a while back    He is amazing on what he can do with the fairing removed,,,

Yes I have his instructions and will read again.  I was missing one connector.
I will also tackle the rear aux plug, as I think I need this for the xm.
Once again more research and reading.
