Another member on the forum has started a registry for the SERGs (in blue I think), and I got to thinking......

I would personally like to see a registry for "ALL" CVOs of all years/colors.  If enough members here would be interested I'd be willing to start a database and track/populate the data.  I did something similar for a "mustang" registry a few years back and could easily adapt the DB to work here as well.

I think the following would be useful information, this would help anyone who may encounter sellers regret later on providing the new owner registers with the registry.  I've found a few of my old cars through registries by knowing the VIN number.   

Purchase Date, Selling Dealership, Owners Name, VIN, Model, Color, Current Location (city/town), Options (if available), Site Screen Name

Hi Psi      The registry's that I have set up for the 2000 and 2001 SERG's was a lot of work at the start up, mainly because I didn't ask anyone to originally sign up I just searched the site for members that listed these models in there avatars. As new members joined and saw the post for their particular registry they have been replying to the post and I have been adding them.  Originally I was just interested in the "First Screamin Eagle's" In particular the 2000 SERG because I am a proud owner of one of the (finest and fastest bikes ever produced) Triple Red's but then some interest was being sought by the 2001 owner's as well so I made a registry for them as well.  I agree that it is both informative and well kind'a neat knowing who the owner's are of the same model bike as I have, especially because they were produced in such limited quantities.  I know that others on the site have expressed an interest in a similar type of registry from time to time and I hope you get a good response for your efforts.

I'm in!  I bought mine used, but have the information on the original owner too.  Agreed, addresses should be not included. Perhaps City and State?
