Top Speed SE RGU

Just curious - anyone know how fast will a stock SERGU go?  Does it feel stable North of 100?  I'll have an opportunity to open it up here on the Autobahn once the weather gets nicer and I've had a chance to finish my break in.

I don't know about the Road Glide but the EGlide goes easy over 120 mph so yours should too.

There may be a little uneasiness around 100 mph but just don't care - you will get used to it.

Took mine up to 110 before I started the upgrades; solid, no issues, and no wind buffeting. Very smooth at speed.

I've been up to 120 (verified by GPS) and wasn't wound all the way out.  No handling problems except side wind gusts at those speeds can cause a few 'puckers'.

I've had mine well north of 120mph...stable as hell....so much that I had time to take a pic of it.

BTW- cruise control will only lock in at 98mph...that's sucks.

It seems to me your tachometer is reading a bit low for that indicated speed.  I think it should be in the 4800-5000 range for that speed.  I don't remember where my tach was at 120 mph but I think I'm at 3K rpm at 75 mph which would project to 4800 rpm at 120mph.

I've had my SERGU up to 110 with no issues and had plenty of room left for more....

If you kept that speed up, you would have made it to your destination in an hour!!! lol. no wait, two gas stops would have been needed.

My new completely stock 2016 CVO RG tops out at 113 mph in 6th gear. Hits rev limiter around 110 mph in 5th gear (no wind) . I weigh about 190 pounds. My 2007 CVO Ultra with SERT, true duals and Vance and Hines Ovals topped out at 110.
