Tail Light

2012 SG left side tail light going out intermittinly the only work done near there was the dealer put a pigtail on the bike, any one having this problem.

I haven't had that problem but you may want to check your wiring. There have been reports of the wiring harness drooping off the fender and rubbing on the tire. If not that take it back to the dealership and have the pig tail replaced.

This is definitely an isolated problem that you are having, so take it right back to the dealer.

It could be one of the pin/connectors on the light unit loose or the light itself is getting ready to die. This light is a sealed unit and once it goes it has to be replaced. This happened to me last year. If you do a search on ENVELOPE TAIL LIGHTS something will come up.

Thanks for the help. the dealer found no problems just got it back last night see if it stay on.

There's a thread on here somewhere.  Several of us with 2010 and 2011 SESGs had to have a tail light (or tail lights) replaced due to a bad pin in the plug connector. 

Some of the guys tailight just went out.  Mine and several others, it was intermitent.
