The emblems on both sides of my tank are coming off. Dealership had to order new ones. Has this happened to any one else?

Of course, my buddy and me are riding the 2009 FLTRSE3
and on both bikes, we changed them. Reason was, that
you keep sticking with your trousers at the sharp, thin ends
of them. As my wife repainted her 2006 VROD, we ordered
these emblems for our bikes as well. BTW, they are fare more
solid, than the 2009.

I thought at first that maybe the pants were catching but they come no where close to the point of the emblems....besides they are lose in the front also

I have the same bike same color and I noticed this weekend that the front of the right side emblem has popped loose and is sticking out about 1/8 inch from the tank.

They told me they have to replace them so here I wait

It's that cheap Chinese glue that H-D uses.  I'd put a dab of double bubble on it and be done!

They replace mine once and now will again for the second time. This time they will move the logo back an inch and I'm told that is the fix. Time will tell....

the pointed ends on these are so small the two sided tape cannot be applied there.. so the points just hang out there... I actually like those better than the skulls on my '12...

My '12 SEUC right side badge is coming off the base on the back half of the badge.   Just add it to the list.....I honestly didn't expect a "punch" list this long out of my first CVO.  I'm on the border of being disappointed in her.....I do love the bike.....I just wish the "fit and finish" was bettter for the price.

Had mine replaced for the second time. So far so good. Moved them back about and inch.

This has always been one of my disappointments, why they just stick a badge on them. Why not use a decal and clear coat over it. For the $$$$$$$ we spend on a supposed " limited production " why should we settle for a "stick" on?
