Good luck I had one installed on my 07 it does not work. Harley decided to put the sensor by the oil cooler and after a 500 mile trip it still saya 100. They removed it today and installed a after market with a sensor on the oil pan and it works great.

The crowd here has been through the various problems with the HD gauge:

  • Not a perfect visual match
  • Asinine sensor installation suggestion by OE
  • Units failing after relatively short time in service

All have been in the "been there and done that" categories for the folks here.  What aftermarket gauge did you use and did you find something that actually was a close visual match to the other instruments?

Yep, 2Ln said it, what a circle jerk.  Check out these 21 pages on it from the '06 SEUC gang:  http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php/topic,5986.0.html
