Locked out TTS

Is it possible for a tuner to lock out my TTS so no one can tune it but him?

It is not possible to lock it out so he is the only one who can tune it but if he does not give you a copy of the tune they would have to start over again. If you FOLLOW the directions with the product anyone can tune it.

Hmmm, I allways thought one of the differences between TTS and SESPT was TTS could retrieve a copy of the map from the ECM - disinformation or has that changed somewhen?

Not unless you let him keep the VCI.  The VCI is required to communicate with the ECM, and you don't leave it with anyone except when they are actually using it to tune your bike.  The rest of the time it should be under your control (don't lose it).

Why?  How about a little more info so we know what you're talking about?
