Looks like the MoCo should lower their prices a bit if they want to stay in the Euro market. Y'all pay quite a bit more over there....sad.

Lot's of great German bikes out - plus Victory and Indian again, the MoCo must lower thoses prices, reduce profit and keep those plants and store open!   :)

their growth is obviously, because they now deliver more
to european countries, because MoCo manages all by themself,
no other import-business they have to share profit with.
after years of short/wrong/other deliveries than ordered, it
should not be a problem to get growth. the same here in
switzerland.

january through february 2012 Harley-Davidson for the first time ever is No. 3 after BMW and Honda on the German Market. Let's hope it won't get to their heads  ::)

Don't think so, because the market itself is shrinking:

In the EU shrinks the motorcycle and scooter market for the fourth year in a row.
2011 by 9%. 1.7Million motorcycles were sold in 2011, in 2007 there were 2.7 million.
In 4 years, nearly 40% of the market are eroded away.

Unlike in Switzerland, 2011, the industry is happy about an increase of 12%.
1990 there were 299264 enrolled motorcycles, 2011we have 665,870.
In December 2010 w7.8701 million people were living in Switzerland,
almost 12% of all Swiss have a motorcycle.
