Great picture copout. Congratulations.  I love the look of a black harley, no mater what other color they mix it with. From the angle of you picture, the headlite looks different. Did they actually change it for a better one, or is it just the angle?

Yes, the headlight is the dual bulb style that has been avail since last year. It is NOT the HID lamp system but is the upgrade from the standard one. Here is picture of the front.

Yeah, for a while there I was starting to think that some people were just blowing smoke. I do believe the paint/colors will be even more spectacular in person.

Copout,

Congrats!!!!! Thanks for the pics. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me when I bought mine on Monday. I am picking mine up from the dealer next Monday and you can bet I will be posting more pics. Just like you I was skeptical about the colors at first but in person it is stunning. Sunlight changes the whole bike.

Have fun and keep the shiny side up.

I really like the electronic locking bags, that is a really cool feature.

Where is the switch for those?

To answer my own question, I see from the pics it's where the accessory switch used to be, they've moved it to the extreme right, and the cruise control to the extreme left. So, how do you switch the passing lamps on now?

Great pics, thanks so much for posting. The bike looks a lot better with these pictures then any I've seen so far; you can definitely see the detail in the paint better. As I suspected the flake and the pearl really stand out. From the looks of it I believe that orange has some pearl in it, as it seems to change colors from different angles and amount/type light that is on it. I can't wait to see one in person and give it the once over.

TANK VIEW - Note the Root Beer-colored transition
Someone on one post said they thought that harley painted the bike black first then sprayed the orange over the black. I don't know that much about the painting process, but looks like to me in order to get that root beer type transition you would have to spray the orange first and then lay the black down on top of it???
