Vgirl,

Still have the Purple SERK. Not in any hurry to sell but as you well know everything is for sale. I just don't want to firesale it. I can afford both bikes but can't ride them both at the same time.

First one schmirst one. Who cares? I am just grateful I was in the right place at the right time to do this deal. I pick mine up on Monday morning. I believe Copout and Gasrat are riding theirs this weekend.

Thanks so much for the radio software link Copout. That helps a lot. Seems like an easy thing to update.

Still waiting for a definitive answer on why the  production of CVO Ultras has been halted. Of course I am going through all the paranoia of something wrong with the bikes or it could be something as logical as dealers screaming at ther factory not to produce any more until they sell their remaining 06 CVO Ultras. As I understand it the dealers are just recently getting the last of their 06 CVO ultras. Having both in the showroom at the same time where they are basically priced $1000 apart would force some deep discounting on the 06 models. And yes, I will post pics Monday night or Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday or whenever I tear my ass off the new bike.

I really doubt that the '07 CVO Ultra delay is due to some '06 models remaining. Most dealers in my area have plenty of '06 models of non-CVO bikes left and they are getting in lots of new non-CVO '07's daily. Some dealers are offering a $750 to $1000 discount (such as in the form of motorclothes gift card, "we pay the tax" offer etc.) on remaining '06's.

I was at a dealer last weekend and they still had 2 '05 Se Fatboys (brand new) and one '06 (new) Se FatBoy left. They were discounting all three at $2000 off MSRP plus still adding dealer prep and freight. I don' t know how much mark-up the SE Fatboys have but someone said on one post that the SE Ultras had a $5000 markup over dealer invoice. So even w/ a hefty discount the dealers are still making a profit on these bikes, probably more profit than on a stock ultra sold at MSRP.

Has anyone seen any new "06 SE ultras on their dealers showroom floor lately? I haven't. I was under the impression that all of the "06 SE Ultras had been sold and no more were available. The only "06 SE models I've seen at dealers are a few V-rods and a few FB's. Most dealers in the Dallas area are asking $2k over MSRP for the '07 Se Ultras and you have to get on a list. I luckily have a small local dealer that is selling me mine at MSRP + freight and prep.

Well folks I am back. Sold my Grape a year ago and had a Ultra but was in a crash 3-28-06(Totaled). I wanted the 07 CVO and waited and waited and well I wont keep going cause you get my drift. Needless to say Friday July 28th. 4 months after my crash I got my CVO Ultra B/O and have not come down from the clouds yet. I will post pictures soon but just thought I would tell a few hundred of my [smiley=jalapeno.gif] [smiley=banana.gif] brothers and sisters...IM BACK!

Some predictions come true and some don't but one that comes true more often than not is if we for some reason are without a bike the urge and desire to get another one, often brings us back...........

KAZ, you knew you weren't going without a bike for long and now you have the one you wanted.  Welcome back and safe riding. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

You all are great. The bike rides like a dream, runs like a dream and is way fun. You all need to do the same and ride safe and enjoy.

Looking forward to many miles with her and sharing the experience with the group.
Thanks again

A 2007 FLHRSE3 "COBALT BLUE" arrived at my local dealer last wed and I had a sold tag on it by 10:00 am. After working my trade in (2006 FLHRI), financing, and telling my wife "I LOVE YOU, BABY", I rode it home friday afternoon...for MSRP!

Geez, is that all it takes, I have somewhat publically challenged myself to trade the 06 SEUC and 02 FXDWG3 in for a new 07 SEUC and 07 SE Dyna.  I doubt "I love you will cover me, but it will be part of my repitoire" [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Just take "Momma" out furniture shopping tomorrow, let her get anything she desires. Then on the way home talk about how nice everything she purchased is, how much you love her, and right after she tells you she loves you back then hit her w/the "BTW"..... I think I'm going to sell my bikes, and get two new ones. ;D
