Rear Shock Suggestions
« on: March 18, 2012, 09:37:51 AM »

Looking to upgrade suspension on my 08 SEUC/SG. 95% of the time ride without tour pak and two up for short trips. Combined weight of 320 lbs. I'm gonna change out front to Progressive monotubes.  Looking for something standard height and substantial improvement over stock for the rear. Had Legends on a Vrod for the novelty of lowering to the ground and although they were much better than stock, they still weren't great comfort IMO. If anyone has any input of make and model numbers it would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I have 3-1 Ohlin shocks because my FLHRSE3 is lowered 1 inch. The 3-3's would work for you. I got them from motorcyclemetal.com talk to Howard.
Oh ya, I love them! I glide over bumps now with now bottoming out

I've had good luck with the Progressive 940.
