FISTS in the WIND
« on: March 19, 2012, 05:28:34 PM »

Been about two weeks now with the knurled inserts from Wild One for my 18" AHs . With my original risers they work great! They feel as solid as the orig bars. I'd like to thank Angry Pirate for the install advise. Pot-holes, manhole covers, r/r tracks and what ever else I've dodged, or not, they haven't moved. Even my heavy hand on the twisty part and still solid. This is the solidness and control I've been looking for since i put them on. Now I feel comfortable enough to continue with my cam upgrade. Looking real hard at the Woods 555. First some new feets, should been done by the wk-end.

Your welcome!
Any time brother.

I spent about 10 hours looking at dyno sheets the other day for cams.  Hard to choose for the 110.  I am kind of stuck on the TW-7H.  Mid range cam while retaining most of the low torque.  There is a guy posting on here who seems to know his $#!T on 110s.  "dennysheads" I think, he has done a few and recomends a little more than just bolt in cams.  Woods valve springs, lifters, HD rockers, and .030 head gasket.  Allot more cash but I guess real noticable results.

Post some pics of the new bars.

Colorado, there's another member of this site that really knows his shyte on 110s.  I believe his handle here is HD Dude, Jim from Hayward, CA.  Owns a shop, Metal Dragon, and has developed quite a following in NoCal.  PM him, he's a stand-up guy and can give you some good advice.
