Today was such a beautiful day that the wife and I decided to play hookey from work and go for a ride in Ohio Amish country. Weather was awesome and was able to ride without a jacket most of the day. Trip started at 9:30 this morning and we first headed up to our local HD dealer. Needed the jackets for this portion of the ride, air was a little crisp and the sun was still trying to break thru the clouds. Spent about an hour at the dealership and then took off for Amish country without the jackets, temp had risen quite a bit since we had arrived.
After about a 1 1/2 hour trip we arrived and explored a couple of the craft stores. Jumped back on the bike for a quick 5 mile ride to the next town for lunch at the Der Dutchman. After lunch we started heading back home, meandering our way across the countryside, taking random turns here and there just to see where they went and only using the GPS to keep us headed in the general direction of home. Took about 2 hours for us to get home and all told rode just over 200 miles.
In the past week have put over 400 miles on the bike and have enjoyed every hour/minute/second/mile/foot/inch every time I am out riding.
Here are some pics that I was unaware that the wife was taking.
