We toured NS August 13 - 20......a good time to go. We flew from Atlanta to Portland Me and rented Electra Glides from Big Moose HD...nice folks. We then took the high speed cat ferry over to NS.
They have 2 seasons there....winter and road construction! The NS tourist bureau can send you a motorcycle touring guide. Doing Cape Breton is a must.

Big Moose H-D owned by the Reynold's family. Been selling motorcycles in Maine for 50 years. Great folks. They own 3 dealerships in Maine (Portland, Augusta and Bangor) Steve Reynolds runs the Portland dealership. He swung a leg over his first bike at 3. I bought my first new bike from them back in 71.
That high speed ferry is the world's fastest passenger ferry. Powered by Watsila Water Jets. Takes about 1/2 the time the old ferry "Bluenose" used to take.
Like I said 9 months of wintah, 2 months of rough sleddin and then summah.
