Froze my A$$ off and there really isnt all that much interesting to see as compared to the Blue Ridge or Sturgis SD.

I'll stick with Sturgis from now on no desire to go back

That's Funny. Thats the same way I feel about Sturgis after having my Harley truck and Screamin Eagle damaged from hail!

You can see stuff at Cabbage patch in Daytona.  Also can see stuff on Main Street depending on where you wander amuck. 

Florida had a cold winter & this year's DB rally was colder than usual.

I was lucky enough to have left that morning   There was no indication it was even coming?

Still the natural beauty of the Black Hills area beats the flat stoplight by stoplight terrain of Florida the whole state looks exactly the same town after town.

You can get a weird storm anywhere nothing you can do about that?

Saw the Hail at Full Throttle on TV afterwards that was horrible

This video was shot from my camp a few moments after the storm. You can see my Orange 04' Pumpkin in the back ground. I had to replace the Tank, the tank console,Front Fender, both saddle bag lids, tour pak lid and some exhaust heat shields. That is my Harley truck the camera guy walks around. You cant tell it from the video but Every piece of sheet metal was ruined. 12K in damage to the truck alone. We were the only Lucky ones that didn't loose any glass though.
I do agree with you that Sturgis is much better riding than Daytona, No question.

Man that really sukd  So Sorry all those great bikes damaged its painful to watch!

The guy hauling ours backed out 3 days before we left so we rented. Maybe in 09 that was the way to go? Who knew?

MY '09 SERG wears her tank insert dimples proudly from that storm. War stories

This was first road trip on 07 it was broken in on ride to sturgis in 06.
