Bostonboy,

Glad you got your bike back, could you fill us in on what type of pipes and air cleaner do you have on the bike?

Just because I wanted to see what the chart should look like, I quick-and-dirty moved the HP down so that the two traces intersect where they should, and copied the scale over to the other side so they match.

Torque is developed a little later than what I like for everyday street use, but it looks plenty fun otherwise.

sgracer,

I tend to disagree with you as there on the comment good looking power as there are quite a few guys on this site that are geting those numbers or very close to it with just bolt in cams, air breather and pipes and a tune of course, like the CR575 or the Yuill yb14sec, fueling 574's.  With headwork I would expect the 115 hp range and the 120-125 torque range as you would be setting the squish, you would be optimizing the flow and setting the heads to work with the cam.   Seems something is awry with the combo.

There are a few others on this forum that have builds using this similar combonation of parts with some differences in exhaust systems, injectors or even pistons, numbers are 112+ HP & 120'S TQ, So I tend to agree with you! I'm @ 105HP & 121TQ, While my bike was being tuned the tuner said he saw some revision in the exhaust system that he couldn't tune out. He thinks it might be due to the cams overlap design and pipe combonation. I am not a mechanic, a tuner, or a pro racer but I think I can here it @ higher RPM when getting off the throttle such as when shifting up or down.  I instructed the tuner my goals were TQ, gas milage, cooler running temps, HP, in that progression, with HP being the least of my concerns!  I don't plan on spending a lot of time in the triple digits, but I sure as heck know I can reach them quick as SH_T!!!   I hope others will chime in with their opinions there are some very knowledgeable members on this Forum!      Constructive criticism is a good thing !!!!!
                                                                     Thanks, David

Bostonboy,

What matters is you're happy with the build and end results. It's your money and your baby.
I'm probably going to put the same cam in my bike.
I'll have some porting work done by a local shop, SE HC 10.5 pistons installed, and a FuilMoto 2 into 1 exhaust installed. I already have the K&N airfilter and a Power Vision installed.
