It amazes me each time we hear of some big shot of some kind hit another person while being mentally impaired and then knowinly leave a person fighting for their life.

Tony Tufano, the 72-year-old motorcyclist who was injured when Tampa Bay Rays reliever Matt Bush allegedly crashed into him and fled the scene last Thursday, is completely unresponsive, according to The Tampa Tribune.

Tufano is in a medically induced coma and hooked up to a feeding tube and respirator.

He's done.  Hang in there Tony, prayers for healing on the way. 

Everytime I'm out in this Bay Area city traffic, I'm always wondering about the person approaching from the rear.  I watch them drive up and look at their face to make sure they're paying attention.  When I stop at the light, I'm looking to position myself in a way I can move out if someone is approaching too fast and not looking.  Not sure this will work in every instance, but it is doing something rather than nothing when a sitting duck at a signal. 

In Cal, we can split lanes and move up to the front of the intersection at signals, but I don't really like doing that if I can help it.  I don't mind sitting in line like everyone else; but this is one good reason for doing it if I ever saw one.  Reevaluating.

So sensless.  Bush has wasted his life.  He'll do time for this one and should.
