Editing and adding music to a video
« on: March 25, 2012, 07:07:23 PM »

I got the GoPro camera and took my first videos today, the came out good so far and I'd like to edit them and add music. Do I need to purchase a video editing software? I have never worked with a video before and I tried looking on you tube but I couldn't find help on Windows Media Player which is what I have on my laptop. Thanks.

I would suggest going to Best Buy and checking out the different video editing software packages they have available.  You should be able to find one that matches your price range and technical ability.

I'm a little surprised that the camera did not come with some type of starter software.   :nixweiss:

Thanks Ghost Rider. I called GoPro today and they suggested to start with Windows live movie maker. I have never done video editing so I will start practicing...
