I just tried the p7 and I love it.  The beam is much wider too.  Truly an amazing headlight. I don't have the passing lamps but I really don't think I miss them at all now. I would recommend this one for sure.   Easy install too.

The guy that Ken and I bought our lights from is found in this search for the spots but it also came up on the main search results. Checking his store shows me the headlight but he's come up in price a little since I bought mine. I paid $242 with shipping and then $225 for the spots also including shipping.

You could save $15 if you ordered the headlight off of ebay and then the spots through Phat. Wonder if a vender would offer a forum group buy? If we approached them with at least 10 sets of lights, you might be able to get a better deal.

By contacting John Shaga directly at Mill Supply, you might get them for around $102.00 each.  Perhaps they raised the price since I ordered three weeks ago.  Don't fart around with Ebay...go direct.  Even $242 for two is better than the Single Ebay price.

Ok, so from all that I have read the Kuryakyn/Truck Lite Phase 7's are latest and greatest. Did not like the way they stick out. My question is will they work with the H-D Visor Style trim rings? I like the looks of those trim rings and was going to get them but not if they won't fit with the Phase 7 lights. I know several are running the Phase 6 lights and it looks like they don't stick out as far as the 7's. I had intended to buy new LED lights during the winter but now am kinda glad I waited. Not really riding much after dark these days except local around town, of course part of that may be because I know my stock lights suck.

The HD visor trim ring fits nicely over the phase 7 and sits almost flush with the end of the light.

I have the Phase 6 HL and PL's and they do a great job.  From looking at the review, I'll stick with the Phase 6 for now, at least until I see a set of the Phase 7's in person.  Like most, I do most of my riding in the daylight, and the Phase 6 looks to be much more visible in the daylight.  Also, from the photos I've seen thus far, I don't like the looks of the Phase 7, but they may look much better in person.  If I find that the Phase 7 is that much better that it would make me order a set, I'm sure I could recoup a sizeable amount of my investment by selling the Phase 6 lamps.  I guess I'll just keep looking around to see if anyone has them mounted.

Those are the best pics I have seen of them yet, and also the ones that I was referring to.  No offense, but in the pics, with the passing lamps on they look like they are almost half full of dirty water.  I'm certain that they won't look like this in person, but it's obvious that it's about impossible to get a good photo of them.  The other pics I've seen of them look like they are painted white in the bottom half, and I'm sure that's not the case either.

It's a mirror finish and looks great (IMHO) in person.  You're right, it does not translate well in a picture.
