Good for Corbin.  Can't imagine bright saddles that make a statement along with the bike.  Way too gaudy.  It's important to keep things understated and subtle.

Ignore the wrinkles- I took this pic to show Corbin before sending out for repairs. I'll see if I have better pics.

For those that can't be there in person to get our seats, I found Jim (HD-Dude) really helpful in ordering mine.  I'm really looking forward to getting it on the bike :bananarock:

I two have ordered lots of stuff from Jim. My situation here is a little different. I had never put a corbin on my bike. For that matter never even ridden on one. So when I went to Bike week I went to the Corbin store under Jorge advise and met with Sergio. What a super guy and very helpful. Hooked me up and got a little discount for being a CVO guy. So thats my story!

I'm also looking to put a Corbin classic solo on my SESG but possibly without any stitching....has anyone had this seat made without the stitching (no flames, no fan, etc)...just a plain leather seat like the stock, only a solo? Looking for a picture of it if available?

The one on their website has some stitching, but nothing with color if that's what you are looking for

Good luck. I ordered mine without stitching, and it's been sent back twice to Corbin for wrinkle and creases in the leather. Each time I told them I wanted a new cover with no stitching like I originally ordered. They said they have to put stitching on it, even though I've seen other Dual Tours without stitching, and awhile back they even had a stitchless one on their website (which isn't there anymore  :nixweiss:). So the last time I get it back with a new cover to resolve my creased leather issue, but they still did the stitching!

Mine is the non-heated version, which they know-my understanding is that the heated version needs to have the extra bit of foam on top with that stitching, but not the non-heated version.

Typical Corbin BS- my third seat with them, and each one had issues requiring it be sent back.

Face care to share why you are getting rid of the boom cans?

BigLew

My Right Bub muffler has a yellow ring about 2" wide right next to the clamp. I frequently drag the mufflers going in and out of parking lots over curbs etc... usually only with bsr on board. Starting to piss me off and she got mad at me last week when I asked her if she is gaining weight when I drug the muffler 3 times in a very short distance. Mostly do to chitty roads and parking lots around here. I don't like the big cutout in my front pipe heat shield (V&H X pipe)
for the floorboard bracket which I have spaced out and is a big eyesore. I have a excessive need to keep changing stuff even when it don't need to be changed! These forums are not helping my issues either! I have been looking around for a black system for awhile now. I like the looks and have read allot of good feedback on the Drago's Dragula system. It's a 3 step 2-1 header with a 4" muffler. pipe is chromed inside and out then the heat shield is black powder coated and the muffler is Teflon coated. I will have a match ghost pipe on the left. Frank there tells me he has this pipes on high horse power bikes for 2 years and still look like new. This pipe will be great when I do further mods down the road. Reputable Dyno tuners are saying good things about this pipe! That's pretty much it. If Bub made the boom can in black I might have considered it But I think the black X pipe is over priced? FACE

Thanks Face, keep me in the loop on the pipe. I would really like to hear if it help performance. I like the way the booms fill the hole but not the sound!
