You'd mentioned previously the bike being out of warranty.  So no surprise.  Always nice to get some extra benefits if someone offers.  But apparently nothing to surprise you.  Congrats on finally getting the bike home.  Has to feel good to have it back.

We had bad weather over the weekend,
so I had time to send some email to the
swiss hd-manager and the european hd-
manager. with the result, that they gave
in/up and they will take it under warranty.

or consider the lock as a lady and handle her with more care  8)
now to be serious, with the new lock it's a great difference to lock
the fork. I think it was already in no good condition, when delivered.

Just a thought:  Ror both your ignition and bag locks, try some spray teflon  lubricant occasionally.  Teflon will lubricate the lock without attracting dirt inside.  Use very sparingly.   Works great for me.   :2vrolijk_21:

just my 2c: the black plastic cover around, don't care
about wd-40, teflon-spray at all. it would for sure go easier,
but now with new one, i can tell that it was not
working fine, from the beginning.
