Rineharts and SERT?
« on: July 22, 2006, 04:49:17 PM »

Has anyone here installed the Rinehart True Duals on thier CVO SE103 and tuned it using the SERT? If so anyone got a map? I upgraded my 03 FLHTCUI to the 103 (have had the Rineharts for a couple years) and have had problems getting it to run exactly right.

Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks,
Randy

ultraredneck was asking this question within an existing thread in the SEUC section.  Looking at his posts, I found this older thread he began in the SEUC section on July 22.  It received no responses there, so I moved it in here.

If you have a SERT map that might be of help to ultraredneck, you can post it here, or get in contact with him to get his e-mail address.  He also has a PCIII he can use.

IF..you have the stock 103 CVO motor...a real good good place to start would be the canned map for a CVO Fat Boy.
Reduce all the numbers in the target AF ratio table to 14.1 anyplace they are higher than that.
for decel popping....start by cutting all the values in the Decel Enleanment table by 1/2. (.90 becomes .45 )

I currently have Rineharts and a Race tuner along with an open air filter element, The dealer tuned it and it had 100.xx hp and 104.xx Tq on the last dyno run, but I do not know how to get the map or send it to you. So if somebody can give me detailed instructions, I would be glad to send it to you. It seems to run real well!

I think the only way you can get a copy of the map is from the computer that creates/loads the map. I'm not sure if you can retrieve the map from the ECM once it is loaded. [smiley=nixweiss.gif] What I do is carry blank discs with me whenever I have mods done that require a new map created and have them make a copy of the map on my disc. This way if something were ever to happen and the ECM dumped the map I can just reload it, along with being able to share it to give others a baseline if they do the same mods.

No problem. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Hopefully that will be a good starting point for you bike.

JR make sure you take your camera with you when you meet Brian this Saturday, and get a picture of the big [smiley=vrolijk_4.gif] when he comes back from his first ride after these mods.

Gary, first time I ride it might not be until I unload it in Maggie Valley.  JR's gonna be the first to pilot the hotrod after the mods are done.  I drop it off this Saturday and won't see it again until the 7th of October! :'( :'( :'(
