Never be the end of an era as long as you current/future owners keep them going.  They are still great bikes!     :cherry:

What is a "paint road trip"??

We found a painter who claims he can do CVO paint, so we dropped off some parts.

Duane-You know this isn't enough of an answer for inquiring minds (like quys with nose problems).  I guess I'll have to call LtBawb to spill the goods.   Bob

There is nothing to spill.
It is no secret that several years ago I damaged my fender. Rather then order a factory fender I bought an aftermarket "solid" (no rivets) fender.
A week after I ordered the special order-no return fender I found a perfectly good cherry fender on eBay for $80.

But I still want to paint the aftermarket fender. And I have the street glide fender extension for the back, and I want a stripe on my tourpak.

Bob has a couple of nicks in a tourpak lid he wants fixed.

Hope he does both of you a nice job.  I think I remembered earlier that you said you had a few nicks which is to be expected as your bike is ridden.   I remember my fairing lowers on the red bike chipped easily.     :2vrolijk_21:

Took my banana out today for the first time in 5 years.  Required a new battery, oil & tranny fluid.  Ran like a stripped ape.  Been sailing the East coast and bahamas for the last few years.  Couldn't let the bike go.  You should have seent the looks around town.  Like they never knew there was a banana.  Stood up good with the newer models.

Surprised to see you say there was a teal there, thought those were few in numbers.

Duane you did a good job of not saying who the painter was, beautiful ballet work i must say.   ok so, who is the painter and what were the quoted prices for doing the "cvo" matching paint work.

But since you asked, the painter, whom we have no quote or even the design yet, is ToonTown Paint in Lower New York State
