Check your valves...plumbing that is.
« on: April 12, 2012, 10:05:47 PM »

A  neighbor had a water line to a basin blow....the valve under the sink was turned all the way open, and stuck there.....main shut-off had not been used in so long it was seized. I guess the City had to turn off the water at the property line.

So....take a few minutes to go around the house and turn all the valves all the way closed and  verify that it does indeed stop the flow, then all the way open, then unseat 1/4 turn towards closed. A major water issue would take away from precious riding time!

You always wondered why the fire department would check all the lights and valves on their trucks every day.....so it works when needed.

We have a routine maintenance program for all our plumbing and heating installs. We service all the valves in a plumbing system twice a year, and repair or replace as needed.....it is cheap insurance

Don't miss the ability to flush.....until you can't.
