2011 Street Glide audio upgrade

I finally finished my audio upgrade. With the help of Tif2 and his harness I made a big improvement over the stock system. I installed a Rockford 300/2 amp, Hybrid Unity uppers and Hybrid Infinate lowers. I ordered the Hybrids from Bill at Biketronics and the amp from an on line vendor. The install went quite well with the help of Ricks harness and minor modifications to the pig tails he also sent. I bent a piece of aluminum for the amp rack and moved the Ipod module to the underside of the radio. I (carefully)drilled a hole in the back side of the radio to mount the ipod mod after flipping it upside down. The tweeter pods were made from Harley gauge plugs that I opened with a hole saw and mounted the tweets. I also bought Harley Chrome gauge rings for the tweeter pads. The rings didn't quite fit the tweeter pods so I had to do some grinding and sanding. All the wire spades were soldered and wires covered with braiding and heat shrink. The sound is 100+ % better than the stock system and I am very happy(for now). Part two will take place next winter lol. I may add a Rockford PEQ to the amp for more adjustment.

Awesome job with the install!!
I especially dig your work on the tweeter housings.

Nothing like a plug-and-play harness to make your <install> day ... right?
